Silvery forms seem to be a bit slower growing than normal chamaerops.
It is very similar in appearance to the normal chamaerops humilis except that the narrow fan palm leaves are a different colour.
Instead of green foliage like the species this variety has powder blue foliage with silver undersides similar to brahea armata.

They start off with green leaves progressing to blue.
